Where to buy tickets, best prices

Central Park is the place to be this weekend.

On Saturday, Sept. 23, the annual Global Citizen Festival returns to New York’s City’s iconic Great Lawn in the park for a day of great music for an even greater cause — to end extreme poverty.

Headliners at the charitable extravaganza include Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Fugees’ Lauryn Hill, BTS’ Jungkook, K-Pop icons Stray Kids and rising pop star Conan Gray.

That’s not all though.

Chris Rock, Charlize Theron, Eddie Izzard, Katie Holmes and Natasha Lyonne will all be on hand to speak as well.

Plus, Carmelo Anthony and Bill Nye are also scheduled to take the stage as well making this a truly “Only in New York” kind of event.

And if you want to take part in the one-day-only fest, it isn’t too late to grab tickets.

At the time of publication, general admission VIP passes start at $451 before fees on Vivid Seats.

While that may seem like a high price — especially for a festival that’s attempting to end extreme poverty — if you factor in all the big name acts you’ll get to cross off your bucket list in a single day, it’s not quite so bad.
