The Vikings’ game plan against the Chiefs involves a Taylor Swift twist.
Vikings cornerback Byron Murphy revealed Monday how his team will target Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce if his rumored girlfriend attends Sunday’s Week 5 matchup in Minnesota.
“Oh man, the social media is going crazy,” Murphy said, according to ESPN, when asked about the Swift-Kelce craze taking over the NFL. “And I’m not hating against it. That’s the world we’re living in.
“Is she going to come to this game? We’re locked in, but that would be something. I’ve been watching her since I was a kid. That would be cool, for sure.
“Not for him, because we’re going to try to get our hands on him in front of her.”
The Vikings defender then detailed his strategy to poke the bear.
“I’m going to say something to him to get him going,” Murphy said.
It remains to be seen if Swift, 33, will attend her third consecutive Chiefs game in support of Kelce, also 33.
The 12-time Grammy winner attended the Chiefs’ Week 3 win over the Bears at Arrowhead Stadium, as well as Kansas City’s “Sunday Night Football” victory over the Jets at MetLife Stadium this past weekend.
Swift nearly broke the internet when she was seen cheering in Kelce’s private suite at Arrowhead Stadium with his friends and family, including his mom, Donna, on Sept. 24.
The rumored couple attended a private dinner reportedly thrown by Kelce and was pictured getting cozy together at the restaurant.
The next week, Swift arrived at MetLife Stadium with a star-studded entourage that included Blake Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and Sophie Turner.

The pop megastar also included Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, in recent hangouts.
Swift and Kelce have yet to address the status of their relationship.
The All-Pro tight end revealed on his “New Heights” podcast over the summer how he planned to shoot his shot with Swift while at her “Eras Tour” stop in Kansas City.
After Swift’s presence at Arrowhead made waves globally, Kelce said last week he would refrain from discussing his personal life in order to protect their privacy.
Kickoff between the Vikings (1-3) and Chiefs (3-1) is set for 4:25 p.m. on Sunday.
