NFL star Travis Kelce is ‘quietly hanging out’ with Taylor Swift after finally managing to cross paths with the pop icon in New York City a few weeks ago – and popular sports commentator Pat McAfee is hyped. According to The Messenger, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Swift may be something of an item as Kelce’s persistence perhaps paid off.
Earlier this year, Kelce confessed he had made a friendship bracelet for Swift. He attended her blockbuster Era’s Tour concert at Arrowhead Stadium, and the two-time Super Bowl champion attempted to meet her backstage to give her the handmade bracelet that featured his phone number.
However, Kelce was gutted to learn that Swift does not talk for an hour or so before and after her concert in order to preserve her voice. Regardless, the story went viral as fans hoped for the pair to link up – and the budding romance is reportedly in it’s early stages.
Many fans had begun shipping the pair together – and former NFL punter McAfee was thrilled to hear the news. On the latest episode of ‘The Pat McAfee Show’, the former Indianapolis Colts star expressed his excitement and playfully poked fun at the tight end.
“The lady that sells out every stadium in the world 10 times,” McAfee started. “The lady who wears a cardigan and sometimes feels like she’s 22. The lady who plays for three and a half hours in the rain and Bill Belichick says, ‘She’s very tough, man’, said, ‘you know what? The man of my dreams that I’m going to marry, this isn’t just a date like others in the past, is an NFL guy.’
“Trav and Taylor are gonna take over the world. I do fear all her songs, just from listening to the songs, I do not know her, her songs are like a diary. Trav, what we’re saying to you is: treat her right.
“Because if not, there’s a hot 15 coming – that’s not 15 minutes, it’s 15 songs about this football man. Oh my… the pressure on him. You hold the f****** door open, Trav. Every single place you go to. You make sure you chew with your mouth closed. We’re talking about talking to the parents every time you see them – everything.
