Springtime on the Farm fans all have same complaint | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Helen Skelton returned to Springtime on the Farm last night but left Channel 5 viewers fuming over the new format.

The 40-year-old has hosted the show since 2018 with it previously being live. However, the new pre-recorded version has left fans disappointed.

Helen was joined by co-star Jules Hudson as they headed to Cannon Hall Farm in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

During the latest instalment viewers got to see them get stuck into lambing. They included a segment on cows and a vet discussing wild tigers.

Viewers were quickly left frustrated after realising the show was no longer live as Helen was seen following the story of a donkey who sadly lost its foal during a stillbirth.

Slamming the network viewers took to social media to share their outrage on X, which is formerly known as Twitter. They expressed that they “hate” the new structure and fumed it didn’t feel “the same”.

One wrote: “Hate the fact that #SpringtimeOnTheFarm is not live – it just does not have the same feel.”

“I love you @HelenSkelton and @channel5_tv but it’s just not the same,” another added.

Before a third quipped: “#SpringtimeOnTheFarm Live ain’t live… links are all prerecorded. It doesn’t have the right vibe if it’s not live.”

A fourth chimed in and penned: “Can someone tell me why #SpringtimeOnTheFarm is not the same… I miss the jeopardy feeling of the live show like Winter.”

“Not sure if I like the series without it being live! I know it’s sad to see some of the animals hurt or ill but that is what the show is all about,” a fifth said.

During intense scenes, Helen kept a close eye on Bambi who was a pregnant miniature donkey due to give birth.

Later on, a jockey opened up about finding inner peace while he farms.

He had a horrific accident and found that getting out in the fresh air helped his well-being during his recovery.

Former familiar faces are said to return to the brand new season including British Farming Award winners Rob and Dave Nicholson.
