Savannah Chrisley’s ex-fiancé Nic Kerdiles dead: Ex-NHL star was 29


Nic Kerdiles, the NHL player once engaged to reality star Savannah Chrisley, has died at the age of 29.

The ex-Anaheim Ducks player died in a motorcycle accident early Saturday morning in Tennessee, the Nashville Police Department confirmed.

Officials said the crash happened shortly after 3:30 a.m. when he was driving his Indian motorcycle.

Kerdiles allegedly ran through a stop sign and crashed into the side of a driver’s BMW, according to ET Online. 

The star was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and he was later pronounced dead.

Just hours before his death, Kerdiles posted an eerie Instagram story of himself riding his motorcycle with a caption that caption that read: “Night rider.”

Kerdiles gained popularity on the USA reality television series “Chrisley Knows Best” while dating Todd and Julie Chrisley’s second daughter, Savannah Chrisley.

The pair started dating in 2017 and got engaged in December 2019. However, they called off the engagement in September 2020 in a heartfelt Instagram post.

“Nic and I have decided to call it quits. There’s no hatred between the two of us…and in all honesty…that makes saying goodbye even harder. We have nothing but love, respect, and admiration for one another, but it’s time for us to move forward individually,” Chrisley revealed in the 2020 post.

The Post reached out to Chrisley for comment.

Kerdiles, born and raised in Lewisville, Texas, is survived by his parents, Michel Kerdiles and Nathalie De Larminat-Kerdiles and two sisters.
