Patrick Mahomes celebrated his 28th birthday in style on Sunday.
Not only did he lead the Chiefs to a 17-9 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, he also got to share the day with his wife, Brittany.
“Celebrating you is easy,” Brittany wrote on her Instagram Story alongside a photo of the QB with a cookie cake, adding, “Yesterday was my guy’s Birthday. I hope it was the best and you enjoyed every second of me beating you in knock out.”
The NFL superstar, who agreed to a restructured contract that will pay him a record $210 million over the next four years, also got to see his wife at TIAA Bank Field before he battled Jags quarterback Trevor Lawrence in their Week 2 matchup.
“We here for the BIRTHDAY GAME!” Brittany wrote on her Instagram Story as she enjoyed a suite for the game and kissed her husband in photos she posted.
She also uploaded a carousel of images from the sidelines, captioned “Sunny Sunday.”
For Mahomes, getting to a 1-1 record this season appeared to be enough of a party.
“I’ll probably just hang out with the guys,” he told the CBS crew. “It’ll be a nice flight home, luckily we’re flying back with a win, and then we’re getting right back at it.”
Much like her hubby, who specializes in surprising opposing defense, Brittany may have something else in store — especially after she received a surprise party for her 28th birthday in August.
“Patrick surprised me with my girlssss and a celebration this weekend and it was THE BEST TIME!” Brittany wrote in an Instagram post.
The couple married in March 2022 in Hawaii after 10 years of dating and have two kids together: daughter Sterling Skye, 2, and 10-month-old son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III
