Micah Parsons sick of ‘fake analysts’ waiting for Cowboys to fail

The Cowboys hate train is never late, and it’s bothering Micah Parsons.

It was predictable that talking heads would be ready to pounce after the Cowboys snapped a five-game winning streak with a blowout loss to the Bills on Sunday, dropping them to 10-4, and Parsons called out those who were frothing at the mouth to rip Dallas.

“What I don’t understand is everyone just waits for the Cowboys to lose,” the star linebacker said on “The Edge with Micah Parsons” podcast. “I saw multiple analysts, people who are fake analysts who somehow got jobs on TV, saying ‘There goes your boy.’

“It’s almost to the point where it’s like almost sick that former players are waiting for other current players to fail so that way they have something to talk about. It’s not even to just get into names. I feel like at this point, you kind of know who you are.”

While he didn’t name names, the Cowboys and Dak Prescott are frequent topics of conversation on ESPN’s morning shows “Get Up” and “First Take.”

And former Patriots star Rob Gronkowski, now an analyst for Fox, said the Cowboys “are not a mentally tough football team” after Sunday’s game.

Parsons, 24, mentioned how he wished no ill will on Bills quarterback Josh Allen, whom the Cowboys faced in their 31-10 loss.

“It’s like, ‘Oh, there he is. That’s the person we’ve been waiting for. Why do you want a person to lose so bad, as a former player and as a current player — I’m a fan of the game, right? Whether I’m playing Josh Allen or whoever, at the end of the day, I don’t wanna see Josh Allen hurt,” Parsons said. “I don’t wanna see him fail. I want him to have a continuous career. Obviously, when we’re playing and we’re lining up, I’m trying to beat him. But it seems that a lot of people are just waiting for people to fail.”

The Cowboys currently own a tiebreaker over the Eagles (10-4) for the NFC East lead, though the Eagles can win the division if they win out thanks to the strength of victory tiebreaker.

Dallas has a tougher road than Philadelphia with games against the Dolphins and Lions before finishing against the Commanders, while the Eagles have two games against the Giants and one against the Cardinals.
