A crew member working on the set of Marvel’s TV show “Wonder Man” has reportedly died.
Variety reported Tuesday that the man, a rigger, fell off the rafters Tuesday at Radford Studio Center in Los Angeles and died.
“Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family and friends, and our support is behind the investigation into the circumstances of this accident,” a Marvel spokesperson told the outlet in a statement.
Cameras were not rolling at the time of the accident, and production is now halted for the day. The Hollywood Reporter notes that “Wonder Man” completed some filming before the SAG-AFTRA shut down production in July.
The Post has contacted reps for Marvel for comment.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II stars in the series as Simon Williams, a stuntman-turned-superhero. Ben Kingsley will also reprise his “Iron Man 3“ role of Trevor Slattery in the series.
A release date for “Wonder Man” has yet to be announced but it is slated to stream on Disney+.
Last week, Marvel star Jeremy Renner gave fans a health update after his life-threatening snowplow incident on Jan. 1, 2023.
“[I’m doing] probably 90 percent of all the things I needed to be doing,” Renner, 53, told Entertainment Tonight on Friday. “I think another six months [I’ll] be hopefully running [more] … I got to set goals for myself. I’ll do whatever I can … whatever it takes to get better, to get stronger.
“It’s a one-way street, this recovery. The rest of my life is about health and wellness,” he continued. “Recovery will be part of the rest of my life, so I look forward to it, man. There’s always something to do to get better, be stronger, be happier, be healthier, and that’s what I look forward to.
“It’s hard for me to look back, to be honest with you,” he admitted. “It’s hard for me to look forward. I focus on now and this next step in front of me, ’cause there’s always another obstacle for me right now.”
