Knicks take Tyler Kolek after trading up in second round of NBA draft


The Knicks added another point guard.

They traded three future second-round picks to the Trail Blazers for Portland’s current second-round pick (No. 34) Thursday night.

He averaged 18.6 points and 9.4 assists per game last year with Marquette.

The Knicks added six second-round picks Wednesday night by trading one of their two first-round picks, and used some of that capital one day later to move up to No. 34.

And the Knicks then traded the No. 38 pick to the Thunder and the No. 40 pick to the Suns.

The Thunder and Suns drafted Ajay Mitchell and Osasere Ighodaro with those picks, respectively.
