Supermodel Kate Moss looked unrecognizable as she was spotted smoking outside Cecconi’s, a restaurant in Mayfair, London, on Wednesday.
The 49-year-old was photographed meeting up with her brother, Nick, and father, Peter, during the outing. She sported a pink and black polka-dotted blouse, black trousers and sandals.
The catwalk queen was also seen hugging an unidentified woman outside of the swanky eatery.
Moss’ younger sister, Lottie, didn’t appear to join her for the meal. Lottie, 25, caused a stir last year on social media when she claimed that she was “so sick of people blaming nepotism for why they aren’t rich and famous or successful.”
In a now-deleted tweet, the fashion model stated: “It’s not fair that people who come from famous families are getting a leg up because of that. But guess what? Life isn’t fair — if you put your mind to something you can accomplish anything.”
A fired-up Lottie went on: “So instead of being negative about other peoples success, go and try and create your own!”
Her comments came on the heels of a New York Magazine piece that gave the limelight to “nepo babies,” or children of famous people in Hollywood.
Lottie was not featured in the cover story, but her niece and Moss’ daughter Lila-Grace, 20, was mentioned.
In December 2022, Lottie shared an explosive post on Instagram where she alleged that Moss has not been a very supportive sister in her life.
“I understand I have come from a very privileged position being the sister of someone very famous, but believe it or not that person never really supported me,” she penned at the time.
“My parents were amazing but could not relate to what I was going through and did not know the full extent of what I was going through most of the time, I was pretty much on my own so I had to navigate this by myself and do the best I could which I feel I have,” she continued.
Lottie further alleged to The Sun last month that she and the Cosmoss founder have “never been close.”
“There is a big age gap,” she added, noting that she is 24 years younger than Moss.
“She doesn’t have to want to have a relationship with me,” she claimed. “When I was younger, I couldn’t understand it. I thought. ‘Why is someone in my family not wanting a relationship with me? I don’t get it.’”
Moss, meanwhile, recently revealed that her “happy place” used to be on the dance floor, but she’s reportedly been sober for two years.
“When I started to take care of myself things began to change,” she told ES Magazine in October 2022. “I think I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.”
“I want to wake up and do Pilates or yoga. I love the mornings. Looking forward to getting up in the morning is quite new to me,” she continued. “I do get genuinely excited about it, that the day ahead of me is full of things to do. Now, work is such a pleasure compared to what it was, it makes it much easier.”
