Jordan Love runs wild on Wild Card Weekend

We could be looking at a shootout on Sunday afternoon when the Packers matchup with the Cowboys.

This is a huge matchup for the Cowboys, who have a lot of pressure to come out for Sunday with a win. If not, plenty of their players and coaches could be on the unemployment line looking for new jobs.

Of course, there’s the Mike McCarthy angle as he faces his old friends in Green Bay.

Meanwhile, Jordan Love introduces himself to the NFL playoffs, having really come on strong in the past few weeks.

No one in Wisconsin is thinking about Aaron Rodgers anymore.

Love is in the air.

But it might be his legs doing the talking on Sunday instead of his arm. Below, we break down two player props to target in the mid-afternoon Packers vs. Cowboys.

Packers vs. Cowboys player props and picks

Love has seemed to stop running since early in the season. He ran for double digits in six of his first seven games of the season.

Since then, he’s been running averse but is still getting in the endzone twice in his last three games. Love is a goal-line plunge threat any time it’s inside the five-yard line; Love is a threat.

His three touchdowns inside the five is the third most among in the NFL among quarterbacks.

Jake Ferguson over 43.5 receiving yards -111 (BetMGM)

The Packers do not defend tight ends well; in comes Jake Ferguson, who is blossoming in Dallas under quarterback Dak Prescott.

Ferguson has cleared this number in five of his last six games an added bonus for the terrible stats the Packers are showcasing against tight ends.

Betting on the NFL?

Green Bay allows 8.98 yards per target to opposing tight ends in the last eight games, the sixth-worst mark in the NFL, while allowing 485 total yards in the same span. The third worst in the NFL.

In a projected shootout, Ferguson is the guy to target this weekend in the Cowboys’ offense.
