Bengals vs. Jaguars pick
NFL Week 13 concludes in Jacksonville when the Jaguars host the Joe Burrow-less Cincinnati Bengals on ‘Monday Night Football’.
BetMGM Sportsbook is favoring Jacksonville by 10 points, and I understand why that line is so high, but it still feels like a bit too much. Cincinnati is a proud team that still has good players even without Burrow, so I expect this game to be closer than 10 points.
The Jaguars only have two wins by more than 10 points this whole season. They aren’t exactly blowing teams off the field on a weekly basis (like the Cowboys, for example) and against a talented team like the Bengals, that could lead to a closer game than expected. Additionally, Jacksonville’s defense is decent, ranking 20th in yards allowed and 12th in points allowed per game, but probably not good enough to completely shut down Cincinnati.
It’s no secret that the Bengals offense is limited with Jake Browning at quarterback. Browning went 19-26 for one touchdown and one interception against the Steelers last Sunday, but it only led to 10 points. With another week of practice and likely more emphasis on the run game, Cincinnati should be more productive on offense tonight.
