Good Morning Britain’s Ed Balls ‘unimpressed’ with co-star as viewers spot awkward blunder | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Eagle-eyed Good Morning Britain viewers spotted some tension between Ed Balls and Kate Garraway on Thursday morning. The duo were fronting the ITV show together as they discussed the recent election debate between Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer.

As the pair were discussing the topic with their guests Guto Harri and Ayesha Hazarika, Kate cut into the conversation. Although it was clear Ed was less than impressed with her interrupting them as the camera cut to Ed shaking his head.

The moment didn’t go unnoticed with people watching as @NicolaJaneFros1 tweeted: “@edballs smug and disproving facial expressions because of @kategarraway asking a question at the same time is surely not what @GMB wants broadcasting live to the nation??”

Also catching the moment, @Toni04552481391added: “Loved how Ed was caught raising his eyebrows to the camera when Garraway kept talking over him.”

@realgmg67 quipped: “If I was Ed Balls? I’d go home, It’s the Kate Show yet again. They’ve got Charlotte Hawkins.” @e_thornburrow reeled: “@GMB had to switch off again this morning and put bbc on. I’m not a fan of Kate Garraway.”
