Emmerdale marriage at risk as unhealthy obsession sparks major concern | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Rhona Goskirk (played by Zoe Henry) has been obsessing over newborn baby Ivy on Emmerdale recently.

Emmerdale fans will recall Ivy is genetically Rhona’s after she froze her eggs with her ex-husband Gus (Alan McKenna) years ago.

However, he and his newest wife got pregnant with them and went on to have baby Ivy. But in a heartbreaking twist, the mother died during childbirth and Gus has been left devastated.

In upcoming scenes on Emmerdale, ITV soap spoilers have revealed Rhona watches from her car as Gus leaves the hospital.

However, her behaviour soon raises concerns with her husband Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) and mother Mary Goskirk (Louise Jameson).

Soon, Mary is shocked to find out Rhona has been secretly seeing Ivy at the hospital.

Meanwhile, Rhona secretly makes her way through the hospital, desperate to see baby Ivy.

She has to hide when Gus arrives, but he is shocked to discover Rhona and her mother in the hospital.

Rhona ends up crumbling as Marlon questions her and she eventually admits she’s been seeing Ivy behind his back.

The following morning, Rhona plans to take supplies around to Gus – but she knows she’s pushing her luck.

Exhausted, Gus agrees to her help, but when he falls asleep, Rhona cradles sleeping Ivy.

Gus is furious when he awakens and demands Rhona leave his home immediately.

Will she agree and walk away from baby Ivy forever, or will she find a way to be reunited with the tiny tot?

How will Marlon react to the latest news about Rhona and Ivy? Perhaps he may demand a divorce following her obsession with the baby.

However, Marlon is an understanding character who knows how much Rhona was there for him after he suffered a debilitating stroke.

Maybe he will sit down with Rhona and see if there is a way they can adopt Ivy.

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
