Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ baby Reuben’s real dad as Chloe Harris teases fate | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Emmerdale fans seem to think they have worked out the identity of baby Reuben’s real dad ahead of an explosive Super Soap Week, which will see his parents, Mackenzie Boyd (played by Lawrence Robb) and Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) involved in a crash.

In upcoming scenes, Chloe is left reeling after discovering Mack slept with his ex Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) behind her back and plans on seeking revenge.

As the duo head off for a getaway in Scotland, Chloe comes up with a plan, but things take a turn when they see Charity has broken down on the road.

After offering the landlady a lift, things get tense as Chloe starts quizzing her husband-to-be and his sex.

However, before anyone has time to react, a car crashes into the side of them and their lives hang in the balance.

It is a life and death situation, but will all the villagers make it out alive? And could baby Reuben be left without parents?

The trio recently teased what is in store for their characters in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk and other press.

Despite the drama and whether Chloe or Mack survives the crash, fans seem to think baby Reuben is not the farmer’s child.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan claimed: “Guessing this Harry guy in #Emmerdale is gonna be Reuben’s dad? As everyone is saying he’s not Mack’s…”

Another suggested: “My gut feeling is that Reuben will become ill, needing a kidney or something and Mack will be tested as a possible donor and then he’ll discover he’s not Reuben’s dad. Sounds like a plan, to me!”

A third weighed in: “Yeah I actually think this would be a good twist, it’s obviously not Mack’s, especially with Chloe trying to get pregnant again so soon.”

However, others are convinced that newcomer Harry (Robert Beck) could be Chloe’s real dad and not the father of her child.

One shared: “This Harry is obviously Chloe’s dad ain’t he #Emmerdale.” While somebody else suggested: “#Emmerdale He’s definitely what’s her name’s dad. I think.. Maybe.. You know, her that’s with Mack.”

“Did they ever do a storyline about Chloe’s scary dad, or did that just get completely ignored?” one quizzed.

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
