Elon Musk has come under scrutiny for posting a personal photo of former flame Amber Heard on social media.
During their tumultuous relationship, the SpaceX magnate had expressed how Amber resembled a character from one of his cherished video games.
Responding to this sentiment, Amber had a detailed, bespoke costume made of the character Mercy from Overwatch.
Walter Isaacson’s biography on Elon, titled Elon Musk, shed light on this cosplay detail, prompting Elon to share the picture as a form of verification.
The public, however, didn’t take kindly to his decision to post the image.
Walter’s biography detailed Amber’s dedication to crafting the costume over several months.
Once completed, she showcased the alluring ensemble, which Elon acknowledged when he responded to a question about the book on social media.
“She did dress up as Mercy. It was awesome,” he posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Elon then shared a photo of Amber in the sensual outfit for all his 156 million followers.
