Two “alien corpses” have been unveiled during a congressional hearing in Mexico following several videos purporting to show UFOs.
The two “non-human corpses” were displayed in glass boxes as experts testified that the specimens were not part of our “terrestrial evolution”.
The bodies were discovered in algae mines and are believed to be more than 1,000 years old.
Journalist and ufologist Jaime Massaun said the specimens had been recently studied at the National Autonomous University of Mexico where scientists were able to draw DNA evidence using radiocarbon dating.
Mr Massaun said 30 per cent of the DNA evidence collected was “unknown” to the scientists.
During the hearing, X-rays of the bodies were also displayed to congress.
Experts claimed under oath that one of the bodies was filled with “eggs” while both had implants made of extremely rare metals, including Osmium.
Several videos were shown at the beginning of the hearing showing unidentified anomalous phenomena around the country.
Ryan Graves, executive director of Americans for Safe Aerospace and a former US navy pilot, was also in attendance.
Despite the official nature of the presentation, it is worth adding that Mr Massaun has been associated with “fake” claims about aliens before.
In June 2017, the journalist was involved in the analysis of five mummies discovered in Peru.
The images allegedly showed a crouched mummified body of a humanoid figure with an elongated skull and three fingers on each hand and foot.
Claims that these were aliens were later debunked as it was shown to be the corpses of human children.
