The family of one of Jeffrey Dahmer’s victims slammed “sick” Ariana Grande for once saying that the prolific killer was her dream dinner guest.
Appearing on the “Podcrushed” podcast earlier this month, the “We Can’t Be Friends” hitmaker, 31, recalled telling a group of kids during a Q&A that she was interested in sitting down with Dahmer — who famously killed and dismembered 17 men between 1978 and 1991.
The surprising revelation shocked the loved ones of Tony Hughes, who was last seen in 1991.
“To me, it seems like she’s sick in her mind. It’s not fancy or funny to say you would have wanted to do dinner with him,” Hughes’ mother, Shirley, told TMZ. “It’s also not something you should say to young people, which she says she did.”
Tony, who was deaf and could not speak, was picked up by Dahmer at a Milwaukee gay bar.
Dahmer took him home, drugged him, dismembered his body and kept his skull, according to the Associated Press.
Hughes told the outlet that she hopes the “Thank U, Next” singer understands how insensitive her comments were, and said it was disturbing that Grande laughed at the confession.
Elsewhere, Hughes’ sister, Barbara, said Grande’s comments appeared to glamorize the killer, who died in prison in 1994.
The duo urged the 2-time Grammy winner to apologize.

Grande made the eyebrow-raising revelation to hosts Penn Badgley, Sophie Ansari and Nava Kavelin on the podcast’s June 17 episode.
“I was infatuated with serial killers when I was younger,” Grande said on the podcast. “It was in between me being Cat [on ‘Sam & Cat’] and pop stuff, so it was like a younger group, and they were with parents, and someone said, ‘If you could have dinner with anyone living or dead, who would it be?’”
“I was like, ‘Oh, you’re so cute,’” she went on, adding that she asked the parents if she was allowed to say her truthful answer “They were like, ‘Sure, what’s the answer?’ and I was like, ‘I mean, Jeffrey Dahmer is pretty fascinating.’”
During her podcast appearance, Grande admitted that Dahmer remains someone who would have loved to have dinner with.
“I think I would have loved to have met him,” she said. “You know, maybe with a third party or someone involved. But I have questions.”
